Must know facts about Dharampal Gulati Owner Of MDH Masala Company

The owner of MDH Mahasaya Dharampal Gulati was born in Sialkot, Pakistan.

He was not interested in studies in his childhood and left school at the age of 10 when he was in 5th standard.

He migrated from Pakistan to India with his family on 7th September 1947, reached a refugee camp in Amritsar and later along with his brother in law to come to Delhi for work purpose.

While moving to Delhi his father gave him 1500 Rs in which he purchased a Tanga worth 650Rs and used to take passengers from Connaught Place to Karol Bagh.

In 1959 He bought a plot in Kirti Nagar, Delhi to setup MDH Masala factory, known as Mahashian DI Hatti. Later he opened the same at Ajmal Khan Road, Karol Bagh, Delhi.

Dharampal Gulati was active on advertisements to promote his brand MDH Masala.

MDH exports spices to several countries around the world including the US, Japan, Canada, and Switzerland.
